Gaia Sea occupies an enviable position, built into the cliff, overlooking the beautiful Nissaki coastline with its picturesque pebble beaches.

Arguably one of the best luxury villa in north-east Corfu, just a 30-minute drive from the airport. You can enjoy stunning views, direct sea access and use of the estates jetty (July and August only), from which a choice of excellent tavernas are only a short boat trip away. Alternatively, Nissaki is a 10-minute stroll along the coast. For larger groups this villa can be rented with Gaia Rock providing a further eight bedrooms (subject to availability).

INTERIOR

Set over three floors, the villa sleeps eight in four en-suite bedrooms, three of which have direct outside access to the grounds.

The master suite, occupying the entire first floor, boasts a balcony and a private terrace with an outdoor shower. The spacious living area has glass doors opening onto the pool terrace with glorious views of the Ionian Sea. The designer has used a palette of cool, fresh, neutral colours throughout, with a splash of traditional blue both inside and out to create a contemporary aesthetic whilst retaining the Greek atmosphere.

You are spoilt for choice when it comes to idyllic bays, rocky coves and atmospheric tavernas.

Stroll along the coastal path to Nissaki, or take a 15-minute boat trip to Agni, for some of the best waterfront eateries. Taverna Agni, with it’s scenic beachside setting, comes particularly highly recommended. There are many beaches nearby which are great for swimming and snorkelling. A selection of water sports are available at Gouvia and Barbati or it can be arranged outside the house. If you enjoy hiking and nature you could walk some of the Corfu trail, which passes above Nissaki, or walk up Nissaki Hill for some spectacular views. Corfu Old Town is a must, with Venetien architecture and a variety of excellent restaurants. Its 40 minutes by car but only 15 by boat.
